Dear Fellow Climate-Concerned Rochesterians,
We were blown away when so many of you participated in the Rochester Global March for Climate Action this past November. Together we took to the streets in record numbers to ask our global leaders to put survival first.
Thursday, April 21st, from 5-6 p.m. we will again join together to rally and march downtown, to celebrate Earth Day in solidarity with communities nation-wide, and to raise awareness of climate issues and meaningful actions we can all take to protect Mother Earth. The event is sponsored by Mothers Out Front
The will start and end at Washington Square Park, corner of Court Street and Clinton Avenue and will include a short march. Petitions and information will be available, with personal actions to take, ways to remain politically involved, and upcoming programs locally.
